Help build new classrooms for the farming village of Small London
We built an elementary school for Small London in 2011. The closest school at the time was over 2 miles down the dirt road. Each time we visited the village there were throngs of kids who were very excited at the prospect of being able to go to school. It was also clear that it is more difficult for girls of the village to be away from the home for a full day; therefore, the new school was especially important. This now provides more opportunity for these girls and their future.
The elementary school has been a great success. Students from even smaller villages surrounding Small London have begun to send their children to Framework's school which has pushed the student population over the building's capacity. Our current project is building an additional three classrooms so no child is turned away.
